TLDR : Answer Summary
To get an airline ticket reservation for your Thailand tourist visa application, you can purchase it directly from an airline or use travel apps like Skyscanner. Some people also recommend using services that provide 'onward tickets' specifically for visa applications. Websites like onwardtravel.com and bookonwardticket.com are suggested for fake or provisional tickets needed for the application process. It's worth noting that many travelers have successfully entered Thailand without showing a return ticket, but it can vary by airline and immigration officer.

60 day stay with another 30 day extension is possible WITHOUT any visa.

Book ticket through Thai Airways at least 72 hours before your flight and use their Hold Ticket for 72hrs option. That way you get a non confirmed booking that you can show if asked at immigration counter upon arrival. Alternatively, you could book a fully refundable return ticket and cancel later. Your problem won't be immigration at Thailand but some airlines are strict and at check-in will ask to see return or onward flight leaving Thailand within the 60 days. 😎

There are a bunch of different services. This is the one I used for my visa application to show proof of return tickets. They also asked us at the airport before departing if we had return tickets, but never actually asked to see them. It doesn’t matter what anyone says about “they’ve never asked me so…” because one day they can and they will. Just happened to some friends of mine today. So anyway, here’s the link if you need it

Why do you apply 60 days tourist visa if you can get 60 days visa exemption in the airport? 🤷‍♀️

There’s no 90 days tourist visa exists in Thailand! Review the rules again then you know.

Assuming you're eligible for the current 60 days exempt, then you can easily extend that an additional 30 days in Thailand.

I used just the itinerary for my application last year and was approved. I did actually purchase the flight after approval.

Sensible, booking and paying for a ticket before you know if your visa application is approved can be costly.

I've been to Thailand like 30 times and never been asked for one, people just want to get through Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang as quickly as possible, the queues would be absolutely atrocious if they asked everyone to show a flight out of the country

not for visa exempt, but for tourist visa. The embassy / consulate will check for the onward ticket.

You buy it from the airline or use an app like Skyscanner to search for companies that will sell you a ticket.

Although from your post I’m making an assumption that you want “fake tickets” just for the visa application itself.

Google “onward tickets” and you’ll find loads of places that will sell you those.
