Work permit question

I have a work permit valid for one year as an esl teacher. But my esl contract is only 7 months. If I leave the position at the end of this contract, will my work permit still be valid through the rest of the year from when it was issued? Thanks ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The validity of your work permit as an ESL teacher will end when your employment contract concludes. If you leave your position after 7 months, your work permit will no longer be valid, even if its official expiration is not until the end of the year.

Both your work permit and your extension to stay inside of Thailand are void as of your last day of work.
