Thanks Steven but will just get 60 day tourist visa then 30 day extension then 60 day family visa then a border run for 30 more days (can do the border run twice if needed). All the best
Thanks Phil - never simple but think I will go back to what I did last time- get a 60 day tourist visa, extend it there for 30 days. Then get a 60 day family visa then do a border run to get 30 more days. Only downside again is the time wasted in immigration office and extra cost for flexible flights and having to change return flight each time get another visa. Still could be worse. All the best.
sorry and I got the married visa and tourist visa with extension also left country via land border and returned - but immigration advised me a multi entry tourist visa would be far easier - think the issue is I spend half my year in U.K. and half In Thailand but there seems no simple way to do that.
Thanks Stephen I am hoping someone can tell me about multiple entry visas and how many days I say I am staying ie the 60 after arrival or the total I intend if I pop over a land border and return twice ie 177 days.
Thank you Jan very similar to what I did last year but immigration advised to use multi entry tourist visa - am trying to find out the answer to how many days I put as above. All the best
Thank you for your advice unfortunately flying in and out twice and Doing a course would cost and be more time consuming than even what we did last year.
