Question ❓ When you present your DTAC to immigration in Thailand do you have to have internet connection, or can you fill in the digital form in your country, then save it as a PDF. So it can be seen offline by immigration when you arrive. Just asking.

In the UK you have to be long term resident I believe to open a bank account. It's all about criminality. Having said that, I'd of thought with the internet there would be a worldwide system of checking individuals credibility. Not rocket science.

Scan anything you need with your phone's scan app., then if your pc has Bluetooth copy to your pc. If your pc doesn't have Bluetooth connect to pc with usb cable, once your pc recognises your phone open the phone in My Computer or such like, then open the phones storage and find the scans and copy and paste them to your pc.

Exactly the poster says you cannot open a bank account on a three month visa. The only three month visa as such is a non-'O', which is a visa for those wishing to stay for retirement purposes. If you enter with a non-'O', or change your visa to one and produce a certificate of residency from Thai immigration then you should be able to open a bank account.

Six months validation, not six months to remain consecutive. 60 days, then apply for 30 day extension, then on day ninety exit the country, re enter on the same day if you want to try, or stay out 24 hours then re enter. Stay another 60 days, get another 30 day extension, then if you do it right exit on say day 85, either stay out 24 hours or try a border bounce then on re entry you get another 60 days, then you can get another 30 day extension. Then you have to leave and either go back to your own country or try a near country Thai Embassy/ Consulate for another 60 day tourist visa, if they grant you one. Not a definite that they will. This is my understanding of how to utilise a six month multiple entry tourist visa.
