If you do the visa run, upon re entering getting 60 days might not work for you,

If your current stay is 97 days or more in this year, they most probably will not give you 60 days reentry and will most probably deny you entry,

The person who told you to do the visa run and then do an extension may be confused as you will not get it.

The imm rules are very clear,

No one on a tourist visa is allowed to stay more than 157 days per year in the country,

So you could try doing it but including your visa run, if it accumulates to over 157 days, you will be denied entry,,

The imm would wave your 500 baht overstay fine if it's less than 24 hours,

However your overstay will be recorded on there system so if you plan on getting a long stay visa in the future, you might be denied a long stay visa,

I would suggest that you either change your flight to a day earlier or do the 30 day extension,

Again if you planning on visiting the this year again you would only be allowed a 2nd extension of 7 days,

The cost of extension is 1900 thb

If you don't have a tm30 for your current stay, ( meaning when you entered Thailand this time and did not report your address)

Then when you go do your visa extension the imm will issue a fine of about 2000thb for not reporting your address, the fine will actually be issued to your landlord,

After the fine is paid, they should allow you to do the extension,

(Note the extension will be 30 days as it's your first extension this year, later this year if you want to extend on another entrance visa you will only be issued 7 days)

You cannot re enter any country without entering another country, the only time you are allowed to re enter is if the other country you tried to enter denied you entry and either stamped your passport denied or they gave you a letter stating you were refused entry.

Omg, we don't do anything in secret as if I'm trying to hide anything from anyone, Is this what you do?

My mum is in her late 80s, so are you so desperate to spend time with a woman in her late 80s? Omg you prepared to travel to another country to meet a late 80s woman 🙉🙈🙊

Even if my mum wants to surprise me, yes sure she can and I certainly will not know as she doesn't have a strong odour that anyone can smell from a mile away 555

Rather bring your blanket and pillow from your country so you can save a few rupees,

My mum lives in Bahrain and has No plan to go to Thailand,

I actually don't have a sister 555

I'm lucky I'm from a family that never try to invest in having a football team as kids and then realized they cannot afford the football team and abandoned them 555

Thank you,

I would have thought if anyone applied in there home country for the dtv they would not be questioned. I thought it would be more lightly to be questioned if you applied for the dtv in a neighboring country to be questioned,
