It's 2 FULL MONTHS before you apply for the one year extension of stay as Married to a Thai.

@David *******
not all borders will allow same day reentry. The border run service company is a same day return.

AND...if you try alone...AVOID POIPET BORDER CROSSING.

Period 🩸

The Thailand Non-ED Plus visa, introduced on July 15, 2024, is for international students studying at universities or institutions in Thailand at the bachelor's degree level or above, allowing them to enter and exit Thailand without needing a re-entry permit and extends their stay for one year after graduation to seek employment or travel.

Bottom line...

NO re-entry permit is needed.

NO Re-entry Permit Required:

Unlike regular Non-ED visas, students with an ED Plus visa can freely leave and re-enter Thailand without needing a re-entry permit.

Safe travels 🧳

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
