Hey everyone! Just sharing for freelancers who are unsure of what to submit for the financial supporting documents. Besides the normal requirements, I submitted:

1. A few bank statements showing over the 300k (or more! As much as you can, I guess) sitting in the account for more than 3 months -- I highlighted the amount and the months to prove that.

2. Invoices to clients with screenshots of the bank showing the money being paid.

Applied online from Cambodia on Oct 28th, received approval this morning (Nov 11).

Took a while, but it all went through.

Good luck and thanks for the support!

Hi guys. I'm from the UK.

I work online as a free-lancer and self-employed.

I have contracts with my clients and a dedicated social media page for my work. I can also meet the financial requirements.

Will I be required to show tax and business registration documents as part of my application?

Thanks :)

DTV Questions:

1) Applying as a freelancer - I am a life coach/ content creator and I own my own business (LLC). Does anyone have a successful experience applying for this visa as a coach? What would you use for your portfolio?

DTV in Prague

Applied as Freelancer, applied on 18th October received 1st November.

Documents required:

- Confirmation of stay in Thailand (5 months Bangkok + 4 months Phuket, both via Airbnb)

- Receipt of payment for accommodation (from Airbnb)

- Flight ticket to Bangkok

- Flight ticket exit before 180 days

- Bank statements (6 months) with 500.000baht from Revolut (saving account)

- Bank statements (6 months) with payments from clients from Revolut (Eur account, different from saving)

- Local Bank statements (6 months) for proof of tax payments

- Trading licence in Czech + google translation in English

- Portfolio

- CV

- Contracts with clients signed by both parties

- Czech residence card/proof of residence (also gave Czech driving licence)

- Interview even if it was an E-visa just to talk and explain basically everything I submitted, my intention in Thailand, why Thailand and so on

Staff was quite nice during the interview, they sure ask for a lot of documents compared to other places, but if you have all your cards in order you will get it, if you try to cut corners because you don't have all the requirements, well, you will have issues.

Is age an issue in applying DTV Visa?

Iā€™m 19 and I believe I qualify for a DTV visa since Iā€™m a freelancer earning $10K a month where I can showcase my portfolio.

Each embassy operates differently, and age is not a listed factor on my countryā€™s consulate website. But I do see some embassy listing the minimum age where itā€™s 20.

Does anybody here think my visa might be rejected based on my age factor even tho I can provide all the necessary documents.

Edit - I do have 500,000+ bhat in my bank, the embassy Iā€™m applying thru only allow walkthrough and thereā€™s no evisa service available.

Please help, thanks.

DTV approved today from Vietnam HCMC!!! Iā€™m so happy!

I applied as a freelancer on Tuesday morning and received the e-visa this afternoon (by e-mail).

They asked 3 times for further documents (on Tuesday afternoon, this morning and this afternoon).

So it was stressful. I am finally feel relieved.šŸ™
