What has been the experience of entering Bangkok Airport with a DTV visa recently?

Update on Bangkok Airport: we arrived last night with 2 brand-new DTV visas, and they let us through the security without asking a single question.

We had the DTV approval printed out, and we got the stamp for the 6 months 🎉🎉🎉

Of course it always depends on the officers, but we are really grateful that it was so easy for us!

Theres alot of people here claiming that got problems entering and such. Im pretty sure those all are made up stories, from companies trying to sell their fast track “safe entries”

Myself ive got close to 20 stamps since DTV was released and 0 questions. Land borders and airports, dmk bkk mostly.

Of course its possible to happen, but I highly doubt it 🤷‍♂️

Yesterday I reentered for a fourth time after getting the DTV in January.  I had been out of Thailand since October 26, mostly in Japan but also a few weeks in the US.  Not a single question.  I had a paper copy of my visa folded into the info page of my passport as usual and the electronic customs/entry form completed.

I will say it's the longest I've waited at BKK immigration in 2 years.  Immigration lines were massive and they didn't have agents corralling and managing lines like they usually do.  Total time was over an hour in line after arriving from Tokyo at around 4:30 PM.  It was kind of a nightmare that reminded me of SGN.  Not what I've become accustomed to at an airport I usually consider very efficient.
