The PDF of the DTV visa you receive in the email should be printed out and saved. It's valid for 5 years of entries into Thailand.

It's also been helpful to those who have lost their passport.

I'm aware of today's tech driven scene. But handing your passport with a copy of the DTV visa is helpful both to you and the Thai Immigration officer.

The laminated DTV visa copy - reduction in size and placed in the passport has been well received by the Thai Immigration officers too.

Be sure to have proof of your required health insurance policy for the One year extension of the OA based retirement extension, along with the other requirements as outlined by your local Thai Immigration office.

You are now able to make application for the one year extension of stay as Married to Thai at your local Thai Immigration office.

As long as you have one year or more time remaining on your current passport, Thai Immigration Officers will grant your request for an extension up to and including the expiration date of your current passport.

Once you are late in filing the 90 day report...

The fine will be 2,000 Thai baht...

And only will be collected the next time you need the services of your local Thai Immigration office.

No need to do anything else now.

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
