meand my thai wife live usa we will move too thailand in 3 years too retire. some people tell me not too bother with marrige visa retirement. many people say it is a hassle just doo the 1 year extension 800.000 bhat retirement visa

Graham Seal but if the agent deposits the 800,000 into your account. Then the agent removes the 800,000 baht from your account the next day. Would that then be in violation of the rule money must remain in account for 3 months

Greg Dake Dakin sounds good i could be earning 4 percent on that 800,000 baht here at home. rather than it just sitting in a thai bank hardly earning anything and maybe not safe either. i would think just the interest i could be earning here home would cover the agent. at least for the first year then i would be transferring the 65,000 baht every month just for my living expenses

Rafael Koehler is the marriage visa really that difficult im married too a thai and we will be retiring too thailand. but many people tell me not too bother with marriage visa as there are too many hops too jump through. they say just go with the 800,000 deposit and do the regurlar retirement visa

Jeff Hoffmeister she has 9 million now. but we will still work until im 65 3 years and 11 months more. i dont want her buy the house now because it will just be sitting there empty for almost 4 years and she dont want too rent it out
