It`s a grandfather clause - if you were on the extension pre 1998, then you are grandfathered in.

Tod and Robert, I have looked in the files but can`t find anything. If I fly to Laos to ask for a Non O based on being a dependent of my wife, what docs should I take other than copies of her passport and stamps and a copy of my lease and marriage certificate? TIA guys!

Thanks Tod. I did my non B in Savannakhet, but it`s a haul by road from Pattaya and would prefer to fly to Vientiane. Does it make any difference? TIA

Was on a Non B teaching but it`s not my cup of tea. I cancelled my non B and am currently on holiday in India. I will come back on an exempt or buy a SETV
