What the hell does one do? We went down, stood in the queue for an hour, got told it is no longer needed UNLESS you change address! I thought it was a requirement ( which is why we wrte there), but they wrre adamant! What now?

It`s a single entry so leave the country to cancel the visa and then come back on a visa exempt (or buy a tourist visa in Vientiane) before you go to Laos again for a non B IMHO, but check with

Thanks! Is the 30 days the soonest you can apply for extension of stay but you could do this 14 days before the admitted to stay date?? ( I will be away at the 30 day point but back 3 weeks before the admitted until date).
