My home is in Jomtien, but I work in Saraburi 5 days a week, where I rent an apartment and my extension and TM30 are done in Saraburi. Do I have to cancel my extension in Saraburi when I leave my job or can I do it in Jomtien?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you leave your job in Saraburi, you must cancel your Extension of Stay at the Immigration Office in Saraburi where it was issued. This is required, especially if your extension is based on your working status. If you cannot leave the country immediately, you have the option to apply for a new Extension of Stay, but you will be given a time period to leave the country. Changing your visa details must be done in the region where your current address is registered.

If you stop working, you cancel the work permit, than you visit the Immigration Office in Saraburi with the cancelled WP documents of Ministry of Labor and cancel your Extension of Stay based on Working. If you can not leave the country the same day, you can apply for a new Extension of Stay, get the not approved stamp and 7 days to leave the country. All done in Saraburi Immigration.

Robert, can I do the "extension denied" in Jomtien or is that done at Saraburi at the same time as I cancel?

You cancel your Extension of Stay at the Immigration Office who put the stamp inside your passport or if you changed address to a new region during this Extension of Stay, you cancel it ine region where your address is registered.
