I may be changing schools and will have to re do the whole non B WP rigmarole. I used Savannakhet last time and it was relatively painless, but I would much prefer a fly in destination. Is KL an option, as I can fly direct from Pattaya?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering changing schools and needs to go through the process of obtaining a Non-B visa and work permit again. They previously used Savannakhet for this process and found it straightforward. However, they are looking for a more convenient option, specifically asking if Kuala Lumpur (KL) is a viable fly-in destination for obtaining the visa, given that they can fly directly from Pattaya. A comment from a user states that KL might not be the best choice for South Africans due to a lengthy visa processing time of about four weeks.

Not the best option for South Africans, it take 4 weeks to get the visa

You can fly from Bangkok to Savannakhet on Lao Airlines. The plane stops briefly in Pakse, then continues to Savvanakhet. It only takes about 2 hours.

If you're from South Africa, maybe Singapore?

I thinks HCMC is the same problem for South Africans, it is at the bottom of this page:

Yes I know, I am asking which locations are "easy" in terms of the Non B, that also have airports. TIA.
Robert *******
There are plenty websites with flight information. Check with the airport and their direct international flights.

Thanks Robert. Anywhere else you would recommend that I can fly to? (Savannakhet was a pleasure to deal with.)
