Yes. The letter we get from downstairs in BKK CW, same day as we update our passbooks, and same day as we apply for our extensions. From memory last time a couple hundred baht approx...
So the bank letter (no older than 7 days prior to application) just states the funds deposited and the passbook update (day of application) shows the balance which will also validate the letter.
OK. I didn't think of that. But obviously someone has...So in short I get the owner to file the report, get the receipt from them. Failing the owner's obligation to comply visit an IO personally and make the report.
You could also file a TM28 personally at the immigration office within 24 hours - as your notification of address. This may induce the owner of the property to file a TM30. Or it may not. There is a lot of push-back from Thai property owners about reporting aliens staying at their houses. And registering with the TM28 does not guarantee your details have been placed into the TM30 files.
First 90 day report after extension needs to be done in person at IO. Thereafter can be done online at no fee. Use Explorer 11 for best results. Only works in the 14 day before due date - 7 day before due date window though. Once you get email of approval go back into website and print the notification of the report being approved. When you go for next extension will need the hard copy.
If you change your address, YOU MUST advise immigration within 24 hours anyway. So Yes...If you move to a new address usew the new office to file a change of address immediately, thereaftyer file at the new office.
