Thanx go to the O/P Bobby Bo for the heads up, so that means ONLY Savannakhet and Ho Chi Minh City offer the year long multi-entry Non-O visa without proof of funds. Penang and Yangon will issue yearly, multi-entry Non-O's WITH proof of funds (no seasoning required and the money can be in your bank in your country).

would i be right in saying that first time immigration want proof from the bank that the money was sent from overseas.

In form of a letter from the bank.

depends where you are.

Bangkok i believe is 45 days before

Some places it's 30

And some are 5

And you don't lose any day's the extension is added on to your admitted to stay date.

You have 90 days to use it from when it was issued.

It starts for 60 day's when you enter Thailand.

You can extend your SETV for 30 day's at any Thai immigration office

i always stay for a month in Bangkok before I go on my travels for the next 2 months only got my 30 day extension in Bangkok twice never been asked for the TM30 there

And i guess the rest of the time it's been filled.

But you never know

So everyone make sure it is.
