Hey guys, just passed through DMK immigration and the officer decided to get a little creative. Instead of stamping page 20 which got my departure stamp from Malaysia, he flipped back and put today’s entry stamp right in the middle of page 10.

Has anyone else had their stamps jump around like this? Do the officers at the 90-day reporting or extensions mind if the pages aren't in order?

Hello Guys, I got my DTV visa today and I’ve submitted my wife and son’s visas now aswell but I completely forgot to include their visa stamps by accident.

Has anyone experienced that they asked to submit visa stamps afterwards?

I’m so scared they will just cancel their DTV visa

I feel like such an idiot overlooking this important piece of information.

Has anyone doing a visa run returning directly to Koh Samui airport had any trouble returning? For example almost at the 6 month mark thinking to fly Koh Samui to Singapore for a few days and return. Has Samui airport immigration been easy to get your next 6 month stamp no issues?

Entered Bangkok for the second time with the DTV. Wasn’t even asked for the printout of the visa. Just showed my passport and got all the stamps! Very smooth process.

I exited Thailand through BKK new automatic doors and I haven’t been given any DEPARTURE STAMPS.

It’s like I never left the country…

While I’m outside…

Normally when you exit they stamp with the departure date so that any future agent reading the passport can see you exited before your visa expire.

Is this normal ?

Hi TVA, got my retirement visa and multiple re-entry permit (slightly erased version below). About to make a trip and was wondering if there is anything I need to make sure immigration does (or does not do) when exiting or entering back to Thailand wrt stamps etc?

Friendly reminder, check your stamp when entering Thailand. I completed my first visa run and they only gave me 60 days. I went to immigration the next morning and was told it would take 2-3 days to fix. They sent me to immigration at the airport for faster service. So, I did that and it was resolved in 20 minutes. So save the trouble, and look at the stamp before walking away from the immigration officer when entering Thailand.

Full disclosure, I didn't present my printed visa to the officer because I know he can see the visa on the computer when he scans my passport. He just didn't notice it on the computer. Lesson learned for me.

Has anyone tried entering Thailand by land using the DTV visa? Is this method feasible? I'm about to reach six consecutive months of stay in Thailand and plan to do a visa run. I'm on the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV), and my first entry at Suvarnabhumi Airport six months ago went very smoothly.

My yearly extension of stay for non-O marriage ends Sept 4th.

I’ll leave Thailand next week and come back end of August 20th, by plane.

Then I’ll leave Thailand again Sept. 16th to my home country (Germany) and come back in November.

What will happen August 20th when I enter Thailand (by plane)

1. with a Reentry Permit: Can I stay until September 19th (after expiry Sept 4th of my extension of stay)?

2. without a Reentry Permit: Will a get a normal 60 day visa-exemption stay ? (I understand that the extension of stay becomes invalid)

Thanks in advance.

Background:

My travel schedule makes it difficult to do the extension as usual b/c my travel collides with the timelines for application and ‘under consideration’ period.

So my idea is to get a new Non-Imm o visa (marriage) multi-entry yearly in my home country before returning in Nov.

The visa itself shouldn’t be a problem. I clearly fulfill all the requirements and did it a few times before .

(sorry, if answered before. I failed to find it)

Just got my Canadian passport renewed from Canada consulate in BKK and delivered to me in Chiang Rai. I have the previous, now cancelled passport. Do I need to go to immigration and get the new passport updated with current stamp?
