 true but it happened in my village the landlord of another person failed to do it and got fined. They gave him 24 hrs to do it or get a very serious fine. This was because the person there reported him. You should do the same

Do I need to submit a TM30 report after arriving in Thailand on a DTV visa?

technically yes but your owner should do it unless you have your own condo . it’s a good idea to have in case you need to go to immigration. If you plan to stay in the country for 90 days you will need to report to immigration and you will need it. However been here 2.5 on a LTR visa and never had one.
