I was told by Bangkok bank a week ago that they have separate accounts that are strictly for o visa (retirement). Those funds are meant to be locked so when renewing your visa is easier but those types account are not required. I just maintain my regular account with at least 805,000 but can withdraw as I like as long as I don’t go below the 800k requirement

Must be very new rule. I just got my extension last week. Only had funds in back for just under 3 months with Bangkok bank in Hua Hin

Yes I used my yellow book today and received my license only 210 baht

If you invest 250k in condo(s) purchases that helps to qualify for the LTR visa. If your an American you need that 800k in Thai bank account or let agent “Handle it” for an extra fee
