Hi

Bringing 79 yo mum.

Hi we all have Dtv โ€˜s and land in Chiang Mai next week.

In November Iโ€™m returning to Australia to pick up mum to live with us.

Any recommendations on Soft Power Course for 79yo. Mum uses electric wheelchair most of the time so Muay Thai might be outโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜Š

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user plans to bring their 79-year-old mother to live in Chiang Mai and is looking for suitable Soft Power course recommendations considering her limited mobility. Responses suggest options such as cooking and language courses. There is also discussion about the potential for a medical program if she has chronic conditions and the possibility of sponsoring her under a DTV visa or considering a retirement visa to avoid frequent travel.

Is a Retirement visa an option? Just a thought ๐Ÿ™ then she doesn't have to leave every 180 days โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ™

@Tanja *******
That would be the easiest option once on a 12 month extennsion

I think you could sponsor her under your DTV visa .

The medical category could be a good option if she has chronic medical conditions, that most older people have, that needs regular treatment.
