Did I lose my visa status after leaving Thailand without a clear re-entry permit?

I am not sure I followed the proper procedure when I left Thailand. Last ApriI obtained my first non immigrant O visa and then was able to get my one year extension of stay in July. I left the country a couple of weeks later and am not sure if I got my reentry permit. This is a picture of my last passport stamp. Did I mess up and lose my visa status? Please advise. I did buy a multi entry permit as well.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on their visa status after leaving Thailand. They obtained a NON-O visa and a one-year extension of stay, unsure about their re-entry permit status. Community responses confirm that the user remains in good standing with their visa until its expiration in July 2026, as long as they adhere to immigration procedures upon their return in November.

that's a stay over 3 months. You can get a 60-days "admitted stay" stamped when you enter visa-exempt. And buy a 30-days extension on Immigration for 1900 THB. It would carry you until February 2nd. It is unclear if you will be allowed another visa-exempt entry so shortly after having had one plus having maximized it. I instead recommend you leave Thailand before the first 60 days are expired, stay in a neighbour country for a 1-2 weeks holiday, then re-enter visa-exempt and get stamped in for another 60 days, which would show that you are a typical ("real") South East Asia tourist. Your chances of being allowed entry again are 100%

seems good, but you still have to complete your TDEC via the website every time you enter Thailand until 3 days before you pass through immigration

yes of course. I don’t mind this. Better than hunting down a pen at the last few minutes of my previous flights. Plus I’d always lose the old tm6 papers

You're all good as others have mentioned...

Why would you even be in this group if you just want to post comments like this?

Yes my extension of stay has the same date. So I’m good then until July 2026. I’m returning first week of November

thanks that’s a big relief.

This is a "multiple re-entry permit" that is valid until 14 July, 2026. If you look at your extension of stay, that should also be valid until 14 July 2026. That's how re-entry permits work, they are valid until the end of the stamp you purchased them for.

Basically what that means is that you can leave and return to Thailand as many times as you want (multiple) until the end of your current extension. You would need to be back in time to apply for your next extension, at which point you would need a new re-entry permit if you want to leave Thailand.

Yup, that's right. As a precaution, one thing to do may be to inform the immigration officer while exiting and re-entry that you are on a multiple re-entry permit. If they do not realise it by any chance, they may treat you as being on a regular single entry tourist visa and then your previous valid visa may get automatically cancelled.

@AJ ***
There is no immigration officer on exit. You go through automated gates. It's all handled when you get back.

from what I’ve been told 90 day reports are only required if you are in country for over 90 days if you’re only in Thailand for 89 or less days at a time you never have to do a 90-day report
John *********
@Brandon ***********
is there any limit as to how long you can be out of Thailand? Would say 7 months be OK? So would miss potentially up to 3 x 90 days reporting.
Nongnuch ********
@John ********
you won't miss any 90-days report date, because when you exit Thailand, the reporting requirement becomes void. The 90-days reporting requirement starts when you enter Thailand again, with the day of entry as day number one
Per-Arne ***********
@John ********
no limit

7 months ok

You don’t miss any 90 days reporting when you don’t stay in Thailand. 90 days report is due after 90 days in the country and 90 days after prior report

yes visa ok can go back till

14 July 2026 have multiple stamp but, you can start renew befor visa expire 3 month visa not lost day .
Brandon ************
@Pornpatcharanan ************
You can apply for an extension when you have 30 days or less at all immigration office, and 45 days or less at some offices. There are no offices that accept an extension application 3 months ahead of time.
Pornpatcharanan *************
@Brandon ***********
you mean come with tr60 and want extension more30days? You can extension You can extend your visa while you are in Thailand for 15 days through a broker, agent, or agency. You can extend your visa yourself. The Immigration Bureau will extend your visa for you when you have only 7 days left on your visa.
