I want to buy a new scooter and of course have to get immigration’s approval to give to the dealer. Since I own my condo here what do I show immigration in lieu of a tm-30? Or could I just get my juristic office to verify my residence? All input is welcomed.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When buying a scooter in Thailand, even if you own your condo, it is mandatory to file a TM30 form with immigration. This registration is necessary for obtaining a residence certificate, which the immigration office requires. You cannot substitute the TM30 with any other documentation, such as verification from your juristic office.
Nothing is in lieu of your TM30. It doesn't matter that you own your condo, you're still required to file a TM30 and that's what the immigration office will want to see if you're applying for a residence certificate.
I currently am not on a long term visa. I come and stay only 90 days at a time. I just like to get everything ready for my future retirement ~18 months. So far I have motorbike license bought condo and my next trip I just want to buy scooter. Tired of renting.
umm, you do not need the TM30 to get a residency certificate in Bangkok. You must have filed at least one 90 day report. You can not do this if you do not have a current TM30 on file. Other immigration offices in other provinces will accept a TM30, and a lease, but not inBangkok , and you must file for one in the district office closest to your residence on file. Also, in Bangkok they mail it to you, and takes up to 10 days. Keep in mind you also need it to get your Thai drivers licenses, if you haven't gotten them yet. One each for car, and motorbike.
