Have any one applied for DTV visa , Soft Power (course's cooking,Myung thai etc) From INDIA. On Freelance working status.

Soft power. Unemployed. 6 months. Documents are valid. Requirements are met. Attended a 1 hour interview. Embassy in Vienna.

I saw someone post about wanting to be based in Thailand for 2-3 years and asking about the process. I thought the DTV isn't meant for long-term stays, but at my interview the embassy questioned every small detail of my application, and did so several times. I stated that after finishing the soft power course, I would return to my country, look for a remote job, and maybe come back later to enroll and finish the other 6 months of the 12 month course.

In the end, they mentioned they would be asking for more documents to send to Thailand for review. One of these is a motivation letter. Now I am worried that what I already explained might make them think I want to overstay. I’m a bit confused is an understatement. How should I write a motivational letter?

I'm trying to get to Thailand on the DTV but I'm having issues finding somewhere reputable for me to take a soft power course. Any help?

To those on a DTV visa doing a soft power course: is there a chance they won’t let you use your DTV to get back into Thailand once your course has finished? (My cooking course is only 6 months long). Thanks 🙏

In November I’m returning to Australia to pick up mum to live with us.

Any recommendations on Soft Power Course for 79yo. Mum uses electric wheelchair most of the time so Muay Thai might be out…😊

I got my dtv soft power a couple months ago, I’m planning a short trip out the country and I was wondering if I’ll be able to get in no problem.

Along with this I was wondering what I need to do after the first 6 months are over( my trip would be before the 6 months ). I could be wrong but do I need updated documents once the initial 180 days are over and I fly out and back into Thailand
