not going Vientiane since they don't offer the visa I want, also don't want to go Savannakhet again yet, looking for a border bounce in the north/northwest

yep did that 2 months ago, boat seat more like 100-200 each way + 500 for immigration and you have to travel with 20k cash on you which is a bit sketchy, plus they enforce other requirements like proof of accomodation and onward flight. I'm ok with all that but was looking for an option more in the north, is there no other border option at all with Myanmar?

you are not the first one telling me seasoning might be required, would need to be sure about that before taking the trip

I mean the seasoning, until 2 weeks ago they only wanted a final balance of 400k, didn't have to be over 400k for 2 months

are you sure foreign account would be accepted? A woman working at the consulate and a visa trip organizer told me only thai account

I'm not sure they'll accept any account so I'll just do 400k in thai bank
