How to renew a thai driving license? Expired in February.

What's the required documents? Do I have to take test again? Do I have to go DLT in person to take appointment?

You have one year to renew your license after it expired and yes you need to go to DLT to do a reaction and a eye test. And the documents you need to bring with you is

1. Certificate of Residence in original

2. Health certificate in original

3. Copy of your passport and copy of your TM6

4. Passport in original

5. your old driver license

Thanks, a few more questions:

- certificate of residence absolutely necessary or they would accept a tm30 or utility bill?

- do I need all the documents ready before I get into the queue to take appointment or I can get the appointment and solve the documents later?

certificate of residence is necessary, because there is your address stated

Normally it’s no appointment, you just come and make the tests and handover the documents, but now during covid you might first book a time and then come back, if so you can absolutely start to book a time and then fix all your documents
