Does the thai embassy in Vientiane issue 1 year non-o multi entry visa (based on marriage) as in Savannakhet?

If the answer is no, is there any other place at all where is it possible to get the multi entry visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai embassy in Vientiane does not issue the 1-year non-O multi-entry visa based on marriage, according to community feedback. The only place currently reported to issue this type of visa is the general consulate in Savannakhet, which requires proof of finances (specifically, a minimum balance of 400,000 THB), although there is confusion regarding whether the funds need to be held for a certain period. Some users suggested that alternative arrangements may be facilitated by agents for a fee, though these practices are not officially sanctioned.

the general consulate in Savannakhet is the only one issueing a one-year multi entry Non-Imm-O visa based on marriage with a Thai. However, as far as I am aware, it requires the proof of 400,000 THB on your Thai bank account, with a seasoning of 2 months requirement . . EDIT: no seasoning required, I was wrong with this. And it needn't be a Thai bank account, you can use any bank account

that's new because when I was there 2 weeks ago no seasoning required, are you 100% sure about that?

Visit the "Thai Visa Advice" group, use the search word Savannakhet multi entry and the requirement for the financials will pop up. However I was wrong, there is no seasoning required and it does not necessarily have to be a Thai bank account. Only for the single entry Non-imm-O marriage visa, there is no financial requirement.

I mean the seasoning, until 2 weeks ago they only wanted a final balance of 400k, didn't have to be over 400k for 2 months

ah, okay. I am wrong on the seasoning! The money just has to sit in the account.

you are not the first one telling me seasoning might be required, would need to be sure about that before taking the trip

I just had a long conversation with a person who is married to a Thai wife, and who got the "1-year multi entry Non-Imm-O Visa based on marriage with a Thai" in Savannakhet a few days ago. He needed to show proof of finances. However, as he told me, while he was waiting in the queue, he was approached by an "agent" who asked him if he needed to circumvene the financial proof. He was assured by the agent that he could do so by paying 15,000.- THB (next morning pickup included) and for a "same day service" he would need extra 3000.- THB. I forgot to ask if the 5000.- THB visa fee was included in the 15,000.- THB

Thanks for the info, however I won't even give the 50 baht/page they ask to print a statement to that scum

Based on latest experiences they only issue the 90 days single-entry

But as far as I know you can extend it for more 60 days for a fee

Getting a multi entry based on anything but tourism and you can only get that in your home country is like getting droppings off a rocking horse. They want you to get the 1yr extension inside Thailand . They want things to change especially on the financial side and current tax loopholes , we are all waiting to see what happens

Edited the post with an extra question, any alternative to Savannakhet?

I don't believe they offer it at all. Same as most embassies and consulates.
