Hey everyone! I have been in HCMC for about a month working on my DTV. I had all of the qualifications, they asked for more information and I provided those and it took a couple weeks to hear back. I just heard that I was rejected. Does anyone know if there’s an appeal process or have any suggestions? Also, would this affect applying for a student visa as an alternative?
I just got my DTV approved in HCMC and just wanted to thank the people in this group. I also wanted to share the timeline of my application, I applied with remote work:
2/10/2025: Applied
3/10/2025: Additional documents requested (Pay-slips and Motivation letter)
8/10/2025: Additional documents requested (Proof of funds and entering job marking letter)
Question re Thai DL extension in Phuket. After the first 2 years we have to extend our Thai DL in December. There is no possibility to make an online appointment until next April 26. There must be an alternative option at the DLT phuket or? Can I collect all needed docs and got to DLT without the online appointment? Just stand in the row first thing in the morning? Thx for help
I have A DTV Visa. I intend to stay in Thailand approx 123 days.
I have an elderly mother who is 80 years old and relies on me as her carer.
I understand the spouse Visa is for a wife and Children under 20.
1 - Will they make any exception to allow me to sponsor a Elderly dependant parent if paperwork (Medical - birth certificate etc) is provided to show the dependancy.
2 - If this is not possible, and we apply for her own Soft Power DTV Visa, can anyone recommend a Thai cooking class Close to Pattaya who we can book with, Ideally a company that can provide the relevant paperwork for the Visa Application.
Any help would be appreciated, I just want to decide which is the best route to go down.
I need a person who speaks Thai as an interpreter (for court case). Just for two hours in the morning. Comment your rates, we will contact you. Thanks.
I'm trying to use the website of the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles, California to apply for a 90 day Non-O retirement visa. I have questions (eg, why is there no field for middle names? Is this going to result in denial?) And the only way to contact this Consulate is with the Line app but the app link is broken..😵💫 Anyone else having these problems?
