Please stop listening to the so-called 'Months in Thailand Experts' who claim the DTV is a VIP lane with a red carpet; it’s not. Immigration is simply doing its job, just like in any other country. As mentioned, you have a long history of abusing tourist stamps and chose the easiest and cheapest route (medical) to remain in Thailand. Their questions highlight that the purpose of your visa matters. If you're holding a DTV for medical reasons, you're expected to fulfill those conditions. That’s something many people still fail to understand.

It will depend on the school. Some will accept DTV, some others will not and accept them on ED; you'll need to check with the school.

There’s always a chance you’ll be asked questions, whether you’re holding a visa or entering under a tourist exemption; that’s the immigration officer’s job. The most important thing is that you can prove you’re on the correct visa at the time you cross the border. If you can, you won’t have any issues. And yes, it’s rare, but it can happen. I’ve done over 60 exits and only got serious questions twice, no redflag, with the same legit visa for years. When people say they didn’t get any questions after 1, 2, 3, or even 5 entries, it doesn’t really mean much...

You get a slip when doing your first 90 days report in person or when renewing it. Not when crossing most borders.

EDIT: Some old school land border may still give it as it seems to be the case for you.

People are now posting about immigration checks at some gyms... Probably not the wisest move, especially knowing that even the gym wouldn’t bother covering for her and may even consider reporting it 😉.

Forget about both of those. Most expats can't get a loan. It's possible with a Thai company, but not easy. Only a few can get a credit card, and only with a work permit and decent salary.

It's all about the money and where it comes from. If you're getting paid by YouTube, it usually isn't an issue. But if you're selling your services to people in Thailand or promoting businesses here (and getting any kind of commission), then you're considered to be working in Thailand and need the proper visa.
