My aunt is on an Alaskan cruise and my wife (Thai) is absolutely fascinated by the pictures. Anyone done a cruise out of bkk? Not a river cruise or an evening events- a multi day proper cruise.

Hi guy's, I'm traveling back from Vientiane tomorrow.

Flight from Vientiane to Bangkok BKK.

I'm then flying on to Phuket.

Has anyone done this recently?

My question is when I land in Bkk do I have to do immigration there or can I stay airside and do immigration In Phuket?

Thanks.

Hi all, I'm planning to do 2 trips to Thailand later this year being November to December for 6 weeks and then return in early January till early April. I have asked the UK Thailand embassy and they have told me to get a METV - Multi Entry Tourist Visa and the guidance note states the following shuttle h I don't understand. Can any body help me as I'm unsure when to complete the application form and what dates I should put on it..

The validity of the METV is 6 months from the issue which means you must enter before the ‘Enter Before’ date shown. The entry before the date is important because the last possible entrance for 60 days has to be used when entering the day before the end before the date. Two of the three 60 day exit stamps could possibly be extended for 30 days at a Thai immigration office although your last entry must be no later than the ‘Enter Before’ date.

Cheers in advance

Hi all,

Is there a re-entry permit desk in Don Mueang like there is in Suvarnabhumi? Never flown from there before and just want to check it is indeed possible to get one before departure.

Many thanks

Looking for recommendations for reputable border run companies based in Bangkok. I see many people suggesting these services over doing a border run via air, but I don’t see anyone suggesting specific companies.

this would be under the "everything else"....not sure if I will be able to express this clearly... still... I am trying to understand the practice of some thai folks that have no qualms about taking ... what I consider to be... advantage of tourists ... I wonder if I would do the same... considering the income differences.. and the travel to my country to enjoy the inexpensive labor and prices.. I think of the word... exploiting... and not sure if this is correct... please to help me to come to terms with this... I am not going to get into specifics.. thank you..
