You don’t want to apply with a passport you’re renewing. It’ll cause issues for your visa and you’ll possibly have to carry the old one with you for the duration of said visa.

Just wait for your new one.

If you’ve already applied for it I’m not sure your old one is even valid tbh. I don’t think the UK ones are anyway. If it is you can still come as a tourist. But you’d have to leave again to apply for the DTV from a different country

@Pa**
posts say you need to go to the immigration office. Not the main immigration in Bangkok.

If you’d have done some research that didn’t include Facebook groups, you’d have seen very quickly that it needed to be the local immi office for your area. Better luck next time.

Monzo should be ok even the savings pot as long as it’s instant access.

Theres a slight chance 2 weeks won’t be enough to process the application.

Mine took 4, from Cambodia though.

Why would you think you’d get a 5 year visa for a 1 month course?

If you can’t afford a longer course, you can’t afford to sustain yourself for 5 years… (in their eyes)

You arrive at the airport and get a 60 day stamp for free. So what you’ve asked them to do really doesn’t make sense.

There are agents that will help you but there’s a cost attached.
