Just for clarity I’ve just waited three hours at chang wattana to be told that my first 90 day reporting should not be here it should be in Nonthaburi immigration

so not everybody comes to the main one in Bangkok and this is what everybody is actually saying that you should be coming here for your first time. So it’s determined by your Bangkok location.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion clarifies that the location for the first 90-day reporting in Thailand depends on the individual's registered address. If the address includes Bangkok, the report should be done at the main office in Bangkok; otherwise, it should be submitted at the Nonthaburi immigration office.

you need to go to the main one in Bangkok IF your actual address has Bangkok in it, 😉 😛

If you're being told you do your 90 day reporting at the Nonthaburi office I would wager that your address doesn't have Bangkok in it 😛

Live and learn, 😉 best of luck with it,

Yes I get that loud and clear however the point I’m trying to make is that regardless every single post on here is saying you need to go to the main one for your first one You’re the first person that actually clarifies the fact about your address lesson learnt I guess And yes it’s my mistake

@Pa**
posts say you need to go to the immigration office. Not the main immigration in Bangkok.

If you’d have done some research that didn’t include Facebook groups, you’d have seen very quickly that it needed to be the local immi office for your area. Better luck next time.

yep, tough lesson to learn 🙁 but now you know

There are over 80 immigration offices in the country and you do 90 day reporting based on the office that serves the address where you stay in thailand

You should be able to get in/out of that Nonthaburi immigration office pretty fast though WAY faster than queuing with the zombie horde at Chaengwattana 😛

DTV_Begpacker Yeah I’m generally referring to the fact that every post in here says that you need to go to the main one in Bangkok for your first one but that’s not the case so I’m just clarifying the point
