When did I ever mention how good my own country is ? I simply stated and agreed with a comment saying that being a tax resident in Thailand won’t cancel your own country tax obligations.

And to second this I’m sure you will still take benefits / pensions / health care from your own country when 💩 hits the fan 😂

That’s also why I have mentioned in other posts why are people so eager to get a Thai TIN it nearly doesn’t make sense to get one, even if you do become a tax resident or not the ch aces of actually being liable for any tax in Thailand on a DTV is next to 0

The amount of people who think becoming a tax “resident “ in Thailand is the saving grace to the high tax in their own country is actually insane.

I don’t know how people can go through life not knowing the fundamentals about tax
