You would really have to ask the Amphur or whomever issue ID where you are if they can add English name in Brackets after Thai name. There maybe regulation against it who knows apart from them

My Pink ID only has my name in Thai, but i have used it at bank and true recently to put phone account in my name. Even though the names of them are in English

We used express translations near Central Embassy they were very helpful and made sure got name translated correct as this can affect any future documentations.

Search for them on google maps for link

Apart from driver inside those seats from pictures & videos I have seen are highly flammable. Very much doubt there are regulations on this. Hopefully that can change.
