yea, I see “applicants account” term but not a differential between sole or joint. Either way I’m still the applicant of the account. Guess a trip to immigration is in order to ask.
I tried to Make a transfer last year and my account was registered or associated with my old expired passport. I had to register my Thai accounts under the new passport number before i could do it and at a main kbank branck. Didn’t affect any ATM withdraws but it does affect international and other large transfers. I think VISA advice should be expanded a bit for maybe other passport issues.
I’m married to and thought the extension of stay due to retirement was easier and went that route. I was going to switch when I got married and my local immigration office suggested I stay with what I have (retirement) as it’s less hassle. I can’t work on this one though, but I Don’t want to either. Lol
