If they request additional documents, it will normally show up inside your Thai e-Visa account/dashboard under your application status.

You’ll see something like “Request for Additional Documents” and be able to upload files directly there.

Sometimes you may also receive an email notification, but you usually respond by uploading through the e-Visa system, not by replying to email.

Yes, it’s possible but you must apply outside Thailand after your Non-B and work permit are properly cancelled.

Prepare:

• 6 months bank statements (500,000 THB+)

• Foreign employment contract or business proof

• Proof of ongoing foreign income

• Passport + proof of legal stay in the country you apply from

Leave only after cancellation is done and your documents are ready. Approval timing depends on the embassy, so apply immediately after exiting if you’re aiming for early April.

There is no blanket rule that Thai authorities don’t allow Chinese citizens to apply for the DTV. Citizens of China are eligible for the DTV as long as they meet the requirements and apply through a Thai embassy/consulate outside Thailand.

Common long-term options:

• Applying for a new DTV (if you still qualify)

• Non-B + work permit (if working for a Thai company)

• Non-O (marriage, retirement, etc., if eligible)

• LTR visa (if you meet the higher financial/income criteria)

If you mean TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) — yes, you must complete it before arrival.

You’ll need to enter:

• Your passport details

• Flight number

• Arrival date

• Address in Thailand

For the address, use where you’ll actually stay first. If that’s your friend’s house, enter your friend’s full address.

Return ticket details are not always required, but if there’s a field asking for onward/return travel, just enter your booked flight info.

Yes — what matters is where you are physically located, not which city you prefer.

DTV is applied through the Thai e-Visa system, and applications from the Philippines are handled by the Thai Embassy in Manila.

You can stay in Cebu and apply online, but you’ll need to show proof that you are currently in the Philippines (entry stamp + accommodation).

For DTV, you normally upload documents online through the e-visa system — not email.

Bank statements should be:

• Clear PDF downloads from your bank or

• Clear scans/photos of official paper statements

They must show your name, account number, dates, and balance clearly.

For DTV Soft Power, you’re normally asked to show bank statements covering the last 3 months with a balance of at least 500,000 THB (or equivalent).

What they typically want:

• Official bank statements (PDF from the bank or stamped copies)

• Your name clearly shown on the account

• The balance visible across the 3-month period

• The funds clearly available (not locked or invested)

It doesn’t have to be in Thai baht — equivalent foreign currency is fine. The key is that the funds are liquid and in your name.

Each person needs a separate application — even for spouse and child.

You can usually submit them around the same time, but they’re processed as dependents of the main DTV holder.
