I'll share the status of my application.

Nationality: Japan

Application location: Hanoi

Application type: Soft power (1 month Muay Thai school contract)

(※Tiger Eye Muay Thai and MMA [members only])

Balance certificate (period): 3 months

Balance certificate (amount): Over 1 million baht

Occupational status: Unemployed

June 6th: Applied at Hanoi International Airport [Status: Waiting for document confirmation]

June 9th: Checked and uploaded the request for additional documents (passport page with Vietnam entry stamp) [Status: Waiting for approval]

June 13th: Received email of DTV approval

Approved 4 business days after submitting additional documents.

Am waiting in Phnom Penh for my visa application result. It’s been sat at ‘processed, pending approval’ for 2 days, and my flight back is tomorrow. Before I book an alternative flight, does anyone know if the approvals only happen Mon to Friday, or do they also process at all on the weekend ??

Can I expect to get approval email on weekends and government holidays?

Is there anyone who has received approval from Phnom Penh after 10 business days? Today is my 10th day and I still haven't heard anything. I've had no requests for extra documents and it went to Pending Approval on the same day.

Can't believe it applied for my visa Monday evening it was approved in 21 hours

I just had my Thai visa approved by the Thai Consulate in NYC after just one day! I'm thinking ahead to the RT PCR COVID test that I will need 72 hours before departure. My options I think are Quest Diagnostics, Walgreens or CVS. I live an hour north of New York City. Can anyone give me a recommendation as to what worked well for them with respect to the required pre departure COVID test?
