if you travel to Thailand on short term visa or visa exemption the airline sometimes ask for return ticket to let you board. Officially its requirement.

and you are also technically wrong. I got mine in person with a old fashioned sticker in the passport. Not E-visa 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you plan to do it repeatedly, then DTV. METV doable, but you would have to apply every year. And repeatedly doing 9 months on METV might cause issues after a couple years of repeating.

For only 3 months, visa exemption if you qualify (as long as it stays 60 days)

Anonymous participant 627 are you sure about that? I think as long as you don’t activate the visa (don’t enter with it) you can apply in another country, then enter with the DTV.

ouch, sorry to hear that. You may be able to head to for example Jakarta and apply immediately as long as you don’t activate the METV (Don’t enter Thailand with it)

where does the law say it cannot be a loan? As long balance is shown?

As I said, I wouldn’t do it myself. But never heard anyone gotten in trouble for it. But personally I avoid agents, as I have allot of time on my hands.
