DTV via Soft Power for Medical treatment? I am looking for Soft Power DTV and I see thai language course is not always accepted. I don't need Muay Thai.
I was wondering for Hair Loss Treatment (maybe one mesotherapy session each 4 months) as Medical treatment for Soft power. Do you think it could work?
I'm already looking into doing the treatment anyways so I thought I could take advantage of it.
Has anyone here had success with medical treatment for their approved activity? I have dental, dermatology, laser treatment and nutritionist appointments I can do; do I just show future appointments or how does this work?
Bank account opened on medical grounds, while on medical DTV. Poke the bear or not.
Ive had a Bangkok Bank account for about a year now. Getting a bit anxious with all the issues now.
While I am on DTV, my account was opened based on “paying medical treatment with treatment above 3 months” It was internal clause a thai friend found for me. And account opened at first branch i tried. 1 year ago. I am under ongoing long term treatment.
I am tempted to go to my Branch with my new condo lease, AIS verification, treatment plan from hospital, Thai Driver License, Passport with visa and stamps.
BUT am I better NOT poking the bear while things are working? So far no issues, recently bought a new car for 1m, about to make another large expense.
Thing is I will leave Thailand for about 6 weeks soon, and I have around 1m in emergency funds on this account. I keep slowly taking out cash just in case. And I do have other backups payment methods and funds.
Poke the bear or leave it sleeping?
Edit: Thanks all. Definitely letting the beat sleep
Hello, I’m looking into soft power dtv because I am planning on seeking medical treatment from a “clinic”in Thailand, the treatment ideally needs to last 9 months, so ideally I would need a longer stay visa. However the thing is the treatment I am seeking is technically not medical treatment as the condition is not medically recognised yet so the clinic has been skirting around the corner with aesthetic treatments and hence idk if it can be considered as a Thai soft power activity.
I am unemployed because of the condition and in no place to apply as freelancer. And I am so unwell I don’t think I can do Muay Thai.
I am applying for soft power for medical treatment from my home country, Sweden. It is a legit medical treatment with a plan over the course of 2 years with check ups every 6 months. I have that letter from the hospital, bank statements for 6 months, extract from the tax office showing my address, ticket to Thailand, hotel booking for the first few nights. Is there anything else I need?
My daughter is 14 and needs to go for a medical treatment, but as her mother need to go with and I don't have and "soft" activities, how do I go about this
