Is the 7 days after 90 day limit still the current practice? As in if exit 3-4 days after my 90 day, I don’t need to bother doing the 90 day report?
I saw some unconfirmed chatter about this having changed?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 7-day grace period for 90-day reporting in Thailand allows for late reporting but does not exempt a traveler from the requirement to report if they leave the country shortly after the 90-day limit. If one exits Thailand without filing the report after their due date, it counts as a failure to report, which could lead to fines on future immigration visits.

The law is you must report if you spend 90 consecutive days in Thailand. The grace period is for reporting, but leaving doesn't change the fact that you were still required to report.
