I want to apply for the DTV visa for Thailand (l saving this September) I have all the qualifications and except the REASON. I am not a digital remote worker.

I have enrolled in a 2 week yoga intensive. I have contacted a few places where I am going but they either only want cash on arrival so no ability to present a receipt of payment for enrollment before applying for the visa from Canada.

One cooking school said “someone applied from here for their visa through our school” and this school offers one day - all day courses but….one day?!

The language schools I contacted want me to enroll of 2 months for 1000$.

Two extremes.

Has anyone found a happy medium for a place on KPG that will take payment from Canada in order to justify a long stay?

Hi, I meet the age and financial requirements for Non-O and DTV. As I plan to do some remote work I think the DTV is better for me. I've not started the remote work yet so I will be applying for the DTV by going the soft power route and taking a cooking course as I love Thai food and cooking! I read a post somewhere that the Embassy required them to show a profile. I do not have this and wondered if anyone has recently successfully applied from London Embassy without needing to show prior proof of professional cooking skills? Also can you swap between the soft power options? Eg start with cooking, later have some medical appointments when returning to Thailand?

Can artists apply for the dtv? (I'm thinking along the lines of fine art artists who do artist residencies and essentially having this be like an artist residency).

Hi group :) Regarding DTV Soft-Activities Embassy Vienna: I hope there are people here who have applied for the DTV via eVisa from Austria through the Vienna Embassy and can help me. This embassy seems to be very strict. Muay Thai courses are only accepted from 4 months (less than 4 months are rejected), no seminars are accepted that serve to get to know Thai culture (but other embassies have approved them). Can anyone recommend a reliable and inexpensive Muay Thai boxing school or a cooking course in Chon Buri that has been approved? In other districts too, if they are cheaper. I just thought that it wouldn't hurt to actually go to Thai boxing (😄) every now and then :) Thank you very much for your help :)

Hello,

For a DTV visa application, how to find a cultural activity in HUA HIN, Thailande for the application? Do you have any addresses?

I meant: Thai cooking classes, language classes, trainings, seminars, and art or music exhibitions.

I am considering a replacement of elite family visa.

Thank you

Can a credible source elaborate on soft power activities and how frequently they must be attended?

I've read Muay Thai, Cooking, Medical, Seminars, Arts and Music Festivals. Does one festival ticket count as a qualifying event? Does one doctor or dental appointment count? One seminar?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.
