Is a DTV limited to just cooking and Muay Thai boxing?
I see some people use medical issues. What about boat repair work?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand is primarily associated with cultural activities such as Muay Thai boxing and Thai cooking classes. Some participants inquire whether other activities, like boat repair work, are allowed under this visa category. It's emphasized that activities need government approval and should have cultural significance. Medical treatment is also an accepted purpose for this visa, particularly for ongoing health issues, as noted by users discussing their experiences with regular medical appointments.
Im on medical DTV. Im going for regular neurology appointments with ongoing treatment. I wouldn’t do the medical route unless you plan to receive ongoing long term treatment with regular hospital visits
No, soft power lists "Participants of activities such as Muay Thai courses, Thai cooking classes, sport training, medical treatment, seminars, music festivals, etc. ". Not sure what the etc encompasses but needs to be of cultural, significance and approved by the government, so there would be not a lot outside what is listed.
