Just a quick report. Just did the 30 day extension of my METV (1st entry) in Chiang Mai at the Central Festival Mall. 41 days before my stamp expire.

In and out within 30 minutes. No issues. In addition to Tm7 and Tm30, there was 2 self declarations i had to fill and sign. (My purpose of stay)

Can you get your tm30 there and take photocopies like at the office near the airport.

Thank you for your update,

in Chiang Mai you can apply for a new extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp 🙂

I find it strange that more people in Chiang Mai don't use the immigration office at Central Festival Mall.. It seems like it's never all that busy..

was indeed very quiet. 1 person in front of me, the 90 day reporting desk was empty. Really quick and easy.
