Yes. Canada seems to be amongst the most greedy. Other consulates are closer to the actual price. It is what it is. Every consulate makes their own prices, or more precisely, applied their own “conversion rates”. TiT.

I won’t get into details. But mods are to moderate. Shouldn’t kick someone out a group for life merely based on a (non personal) relatively polite disagreement on factual matters. If I remember correctly it was about my advise to people to go shopping for more favorable immigration offices to get a Covid extension at the time. Oh well.

Thanks. Oh well, maybe one group is enough "work" already. And from what I understand and if I remember correctly, this very group was started based off of some need for a more open visa group anyways. Although I am missing Tod's dry humor a bit. 🙂

She can then even get a work permit herself, if she so desires.

Yes. Your spouse can get a Non-O Family visa. That is valid initially for 90 days. She can then also extend her stay yearly for another year at a time with immigration in Thailand - similar to how you yourself will do it as the one with the work visa.
