that’s good, I meet a lot of people who see somewhere and love it then sign for a year then after 3 months wished they didn’t because of x y z, maybe even try to get them down to a 6 month initial period.

I would highly recommend to rent or stay somewhere for 1 month before signing a 1 year lease, or even stay for a week then try another place for a week. 1 year is a very long time and you can feel stuck quite easily

I just bounced in and out yesterday not a single question asked 6 month stamp within 60 seconds

nope! I applied then came in on the tourist visa then after a week my DTV got approved then I bounced in and out again to active it, easy!
