Which immigration offices in Krabi, Phang-Nga, and Phuket offer painless COVID extension procedures?

Planning to do another COVID extension, soon. Looking for an immigration office that makes the least trouble, i.e.,

1) not charging more than the regular 1,900 baht,

2) no “under consideration” nonsense forcing me to come back to that same office and

3) giving an extension counting from the previous extensions end date and doing so up to 30 days before the end date of the current stamp.

Krabi, Phang-Nga and Phuket are locations I will be in the next two weeks. Nakhon SI Thammarat, Surat Thani or Koh Samui I could also arrange, if need be. Can I get group wisdom feedback on which of these immigration offices would be painless as described above? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original post seeks recommendations for immigration offices in Krabi, Phang-Nga, and Phuket for a COVID visa extension, specifically looking for offices that charge the standard fee of 1,900 baht, avoid 'under consideration' delays, and extend the visa based on previous end dates. Comments suggest that Koh Samui has been efficient for others, with previous experiences of obtaining 60-day extensions without complications.

To piggyback off this thread... I can go to any immigration office for my extension correct? I am in Bangkok and plan on staying in Bangkok if that makes any difference. Thanks!

You need to be reported be your landlord / residence / hotel to the same immigration office. But staying in a hotel for 1-2 nights in the same district will do. Make sure they report you with Tm.30 form. Or since this seems down: Ask them for proof of your stay.

perfect. Thank you so much Frank. When I’m out of ASQ and head to the apartment we’re renting I’ll make sure to discuss this with them. Thanks again!!

That would be for change of visa category to Non-Immigrant based on marriage to a Thai citizen or Non-Immigrant based on having a Thai child, then. I guess. Right? 🥳

Samui has ticked all of those boxes for me. The first one was an under consideration, but the two after that have been 60 days straight away. 1900 baht each time. Only one I'm not 100% on is the dates bit, as I always go last minute anyway.
