I'm in Bangkok and need to leave the country to get a non-immigrant O Visa come back to Thailand and apply for a retirement visa. Where's the nearest and the easiest place to go?
Hello everyone, I have a DTV visa, but it's linked to my husband's. His DTV visa is for medical treatment. My husband lives in Vietnam, and I live in Thailand. I'm unemployed. I'd like to travel to Laos soon with my motorcycle, but I've recently noticed stricter controls at the land borders. I'll be able to leave the country without any problems, but I'm worried about returning. What documents will I be asked for? As I mentioned, the DTV visa holder is the primary holder, and I'm simply accompanying him. Will I be checked and questioned upon my return? I don't intend to make a short trip; I want to stay in Laos for a month, and I'll have my motorcycle with me. Could you give me some concrete answers? I have documents such as a one-year rental agreement, and I can also present my bank statement, but I don't have any other supporting documents. Thank you in advance for your replies.
I have a DTV visa and I've now completed my 6-month stay. I'm going to Laos and will be returning this Sunday. I'd like to know what kind of questions immigration might ask, based on your experiences? Thanks a lot.
If I arrive on a 60-day visa free entry, can I visit Lao with my thai wife , for a few days and re-enter Thailand for my flight home to UK ? ...Or will that be a problem because it will count as 2x60day visa free entries in first half of year?
(I have been using non-O for 3 month stays over past 7 years, bug this time its just a short holiday around songkran)
Hi guys, I’ve bit of an ignorant question for you experts 😇
I’m here on a 60 day tourist evisa with multiple entry. It expires on 26.12.
I wish to fly to Laos this weekend, then fly back to Thailand a few days later.
I’ve a clean normal tourist passport not multiple stamped etc.
When I arrive back at BKK immigration to be stamped back in will they automatically extend my stay by 30 days ( the maximum) or do I need to negotiate this at that point?
