Living in Thailand based off of being married to a Thai requires you to demonstrate 400k THB in savings. If you do not have at least that amount of money to show, what would you plan to live off of?
Because of high demand both here and via private messages, here is a template of the letter that I wrote printed on company paper and with a company stamp and signature. I sent the following in both English and German language:

[Company Name] is a [Type of Business] serving various well-established companies. In support of [Applicant Name] application for a Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) we hereby confirm that [Applicant Name] as 100% shareholder and owner of [Company Name]:
- is employed with us as [Role in the Company] since [Date] on a contract of unlimited duration.
- is free to work fully remotely from anywhere in the world, including Thailand.
- has full access to company financial resources vastly exceeding the 500k THB requirement for the DTV Visa.

I am not a big fan of mass tourism, either. But more than that I occasionally criticize the quality of the tourism more than its quantity. It is a double edged sword. Luckily, there are still nice places to be found in Thailand where one can avoid the big and wrong crowds. So, with your permission β¦ I would like to enter. ππ
Cambodia or Malaysia. Not too convenient however, if coming from Pai / northern Thailand. I would just fly out for a quick vacation. Or stay in Laos for a few beers.
