Probably asking for what everyone dreams of, but does anyone on this group have any experience finding online work from UK that I could do from Thailand? Visited many times and have a Thai partner, but UK is cold and horrible so would much prefer to be in the land of smiles than here.

If I arrive on a 60 day tourist visa, can I extend it at immigration or do I have to leave the country and come back in?

Hi all. Hope someone can advise on the correct way of applying for TR visa from the Thai Embassy in the UK (London). I'm planning to stay in Thailand for 90 days, flights booked for...90 days. As I understand, TR visa is granted for 60 days and lets you extend it at a local immigration office, without leaving Thailand. What I'm straggling to understand is if I should apply for 60 days and provide proof of accommodation for 60 days, but confirmed flights showing 90 days stay in the country OR can I apply for 90 days straight away, knowing that on arrival I will be granted only 60 days? 1. Can I apply for a visa exemption extension at any point during my stay? Even on the second or third day? Or is that a bit sus?

2. Does it matter what reason I give for the extension on the form?

3. Is it known for a fact that the extension applies to 45 day visa exemptions? I have seen no mention of this from official sources, only about visas.
