You don’t need to do anything. I came in recently on my new passport, and DTV linked to old passport, and they didn’t care to see the old passport at all

how about reporting a couple of days early? Will they let me do that?

Reason is I live in Phuket but will be in Bangkok for medical treatment and might miss my last reporting date.
