TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users reported on their experience obtaining a re-entry permit at Phuket Airport, noting an average wait time of about 10 to 20 minutes. It is advised to have the necessary documents ready such as the TM8 form, photocopies, and a photo, as lacking these may incur additional fees (approximately 500 baht for administrative costs). Most found the process to be efficient compared to the Immigration Office.

It took about 10 mins for the officer to check things. I paid ฿ 1.500 (instead of 1k) because she had to fill in the TM8 that I didn’t bring myself this time.

Allow about 15-20 minutes. Shouldn’t be that long though. 500 baht “admin” fee on top of the price of the re-entry permit if you don’t have the TM8, photocopies and photo.
